I studied at Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles. I evolved into a painter after times spent creating metal art. I moved back “home” to Texas after living as I put it my “crucial years” in Southern California. I opened up a little boutique in the historic district of Grapevine, Texas to be near my family. It was there in that shop that I would spend time creating metal art until the sparks and slivers encouraged me to shift my efforts to painting.
I met my husband Mike in my art boutique. Together we moved to Gig Harbor Washington in 2005. From my home in in Gig Harbor I paint and put on painting classes and fun painting parties. Most of my paintings begin by freely placing paint on canvas , then the image comes through with the color placement, therefore each piece is a true original and a surprise. There is not enough time in the day to do all the creating I want to do!
